And the race is on...

I usually attend reporters meetings once a week...tho not much is directed to me, I try get in a quick character sketch of my work mates... here is a polished piece I did of some chums that I played off of the upcoming Speed Racer movie. I wanted to add more than just the picture so I made it into a film poster.

Extraordinary Machine...

Here is another preliminary sketch for an idea i have in the making.... it is still a problem for me trying to draw and makes me wonder if i could draw before or just got lucky from time to time. This idea was inspired by one of my favorite artists Ashley Wood. What takes me 3 hours to draw, he does in 3 minutes. Happy Easter!

Black Moon Creeping...

I initially was going to use this girl in my last E-V-E poster but it didnt really go well with the skeletons or fit in to well with the rest of the poster....you may recognize it from my sloppy sketch post. i dont think i will give it to my buddy to use because it looks like the girl is shooting to stop the Electric Volcano Experiment but i just wanted to get some use out of it and need the practice.

working man's dead

Last January we had to submit some of our work to be entered in the Pennsylvania Newspaper Associations Awards. I have been told I took second place in the front page design category. The best thing is one of my entries the, "Is It Safe?" everyone thought was stupid.

i recently got a wacom tablet...that thing is crazy and is taking some time to get used to....i made the mistake of revisiting that previous sketch i posted for a first encounter with the wacom.....i should of started small

Hands on the wheel...

the other night i put the effort in to picking up a pencil...tho from not drawing really in some time it started to feel like it weighed a ton....i am spoiling myself with the ease of using computers these days.....i would love to start pushing the lead again and tho this is not the greatest start, it aint the worst.
